It’s that time of the year again when all of Miami braces for the masses of EDM fans that converge to South Florida for what is now known as WMC/Miami Music Week. To cap off the 10 days of music and celebration is the World’s Most Famous Dance Music Event! Now in it’s 14th year, Ultra Music Festival has moved back to it’s old location at Bay Front Park. Since 2005, Bicentennial Park has been the location for Ultra, but currently it is undergoing construction of the new Miami Art Museum and the Miami Science Museum. With that being said, many people are doubting Bay Front Park could handle the amount of people the former location could hold since the layout seems to have many obstructions. Well, news to everyone: not only will Bay Front Park hold the 150,000 people the former location could, but it will hold another 60,000+ to up the total to a whopping 210,000+ attendees for ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL XIV.
3 Days, 7 Stages, over 300 of the Best EDM Artists… What more could you ask for you say?

The 2011 edition featured more than 300 artists performing on 27 stages over a three-day period. Originally created as a pure EDM (electronic dance music) festival in 1999, ULTRA has grown through the years to present not only the genre’s hottest, biggest and best headline artists (Tiësto, deadmau5, David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Erick Morillo, Underworld, Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Justice and Moby, to name a few), but also crossover headline bands that incorporate EDM elements in their music and have a history or new beginning in the EDM community and culture (The Cure, The Killers, The Black Eyed Peas, Santogold, New Order, The Ting Tings, Duran Duran, The Bravery).
In addition to the annual Miami festival, the organizers have created the separate UMF WORLDWIDE brand, which continues expanding internationally with sold out UMF festivals and events in Argentina, Brazil, Ibiza, Korea and Poland.
